After having last week off, Euroleague's Top-16 stage resumed on Wednesday with two games that went down to the wire. The other six games of Week 4 will be played on Thursday.

Montepaschi Siena 77, Partizan 74

Montepaschi Siena picked up the 77-74 home win against Partizan to improve to 2-2 in the Top-16 stage.

The first half had a series of runs, with Partizan outscoring Montepaschi 20-12, followed by a 26-17 reversal to make it a one-point game at halftime.

Montepaschi had a balanced attack with Rimantas Kaukenas scoring 17 to go with 10 apiece from Shaun Stonerook and David Moss. Nikos Zisis also had a strong outing.

Partizan is now 0-4 and our opportunities to Jan Vesely on this stage are running out quickly. But Vesley had a good showing in this one, scoring 18 points on 12 shots from the floor to go with seven rebounds (four offensive). He did shoot an air ball on a free throw, however, during the final 30 seconds of the game

Curtis Jerrells of Baylor fame had 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals off the bench. He also had a key layup down the stretch to make it a one-point game, but later missed a key three-pointer that would have tied the game for Partizan.

Zalgris 85, Fenerbahce Ulker 84

After going 0-3 during the first half of the Top-16 stage, Zalgris picked up an essential victory on Wednesday over Fener. This was the first loss of Fener In Group H play.

Making his Euroleague debut, Trent Plaisted scored 12 points on perfect shooting and added four rebounds off the bench. DeJuan Collins and Tomas Delinikaitis were also strong bench supporters for Zalgris.

Omer Onan's 23 points on 12 shots from the floor paced Fener, while Emir Preldzic had 19 points six rebounds and six assists. Sean May had a good showing, scoring seven points and grabbing four boards.
