Dating back to the 90-91 campaign, there have been 164 players named to the All-Pac-10 First Team.

How do the schools rank in terms of representation through the 09-10 season?

Arizona: 33

Though the Wildcats are undergoing a transition under Sean Miller, who became the permanent successor to Lute Olson in 2009, their track record over the past two decades has been remarkable.

Arizona has had four AP First Team All-Americans (Mike Bibby, Miles Simon, Damon Stoudamire, Jason Terry) during the time span, one better than UCLA's three.

UCLA: 31

The Bruins are tied with Arizona for National Championships won during the time period, but trail in this category, as well as Player of the Year awards.

While Tyus Edney, Ed O'Bannon and Toby Bailey were each named to three First Teams, Jason Kapono was a four-year First Teamer.

The 2004 season was the only year in question when UCLA was shut out of this award.

Stanford: 21

Over the past two decades, Stanford has evolved into the 'third' Pac-10 team. They have had two AP First Team All-Americans in Casey Jacobsen and Josh Childress and their 21 All-Pac-10 First Team members puts them comfortably in third.

California: 16

Even though Cal hasn't had the depth of talent held by the Wildcats, Bruins and Cardinal, they have enjoyed several high-end players like Jason Kidd and Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Both of those players won the Pac-10 Player of the Year award and were joined by lesser known players like Ed Gray, Sean Lampley and Jerome Randle in taking that award back to Berkeley.

Washington: 15

The Huskies have had more success of late during the Lorenzo Romar tenure, turning a football school into one now as obsessed with roundball.

Brandon Roy has been the only Pac-10 Player of the Year winner and its only All-Star.

Arizona State: 13

The Sun Devils have consistently been overshadowed by their rivals in Tucson, but Eddie House, Ike Diogu and James Harden have each made multiple First Team appearances over the past decade-plus.

USC: 11

The Harold Miner era is now exactly 20 years old and the Trojans still search for a lasting basketball identity. The superstar, one and dones of O.J. Mayo and DeMar DeRozan (neither were a First Team selection) didn't lead to the on-court success of someone like Sam Clancy. Clancy was twice a First Teamer and also won Player of the Year honors in 2002.

Oregon: 9

The Lukes (Ridnour and Jackson) combined for four of the nine spots on the First Team during the time frame, with the latter winning Player of the Year in 2003. Also on the list for the Ducks are fellow point guards Terrell Brandon and Aaron Brooks.

Washington State: 9

Other than the Ike Fontaine/Mark Hendrickson stretch in the mid-90s, Washington State has had better success over the past few seasons built upon the father/son Bennetts.

Klay Thompson was on the First Team during the 09-10 season and is virtually guaranteed a return trip as a junior averaging better than 20 points per game. Recent stars Derrick Low, Kyle Weaver and Taylor Rochestie only made one First Team apiece.

Oregon State: 6

The cutoff excludes Gary Payton, who is far and away the best player in school history. But it does include two appearances for Scott Haskin in the early 90s and David Lucas in the first part of the previous decade.

Brent Barry made one First Team in 1995.
