Thursday was the fourth day of the 2011 D-League Showcase, held this season in South Padre Island.

Idaho 90, Springfield 86

The Idaho Stampede (6-14) used a strong first half to gain an advantage over the Springfield Armor (6-15). Jermareo Davidson led with 22 points and eight rebounds, Cedric Jackson posted 11 points, eight boards and seven assists and Carlos Wheeler scored 17 points on 7-for-8 shooting. Springfield shot just 40% from the field and committed eight more fouls than Idaho. Chas McFarland led with 17 points and 12 rebounds, Scottie Reynolds tallied 11 points and six assists and Vernon Goodridge added 10 points and six boards.

Reno 117, Sioux Falls 93

The Reno Bighorns (13-8) outscored the Sioux Falls Skyforce (2-16) by 21 points in the third quarter en route to a victory. Anthony Richardson had 23 points and seven rebounds, Jeremy Lin tallied 22 points and five assists and Mo Charlo put up 14 points and five dimes. Reno made 52.2% of their shots and forced 24 turnovers. Maureece Rice led with 21 points and six rebounds, Keaton Grant posted 11 points and 11 boards and David Bailey contributed 16 points and eight assists in the loss.

Texas 119, Iowa 114

The Iowa Energy (16-7) attempted a rally in the fourth quarter, but the Texas Legends (10-9) still came out on top. Justin Dentmon starred with 38 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds, Rece Hampton posted 14 points and 13 boards and Joe Alexander chipped in 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight dimes. Texas shot 51.2% from the field and outrebounded Iowa by 20. Othyus Jeffers had 25 points and six rebounds, Kyle Weaver tallied 12 points and seven assists and Curtis Stinson totaled 19 points, six boards and five dimes.

Austin 117, Bakersfield 104

The Austin Toros (9-11) took a 20-point lead into the half and held on to defeat the Bakersfield Jam (12-9) in the finale of the 2011 D-League Showcase. Marcus Cousin led with 19 points and 11 rebounds, Carldell Johnson tallied 12 points and 10 assists and Aubrey Coleman totaled 16 points and 11 boards. Austin shot 52.6% from the field and outrebounded Bakersfield by 13. Trey Johnson starred with 31 points and six rebounds, Brandon Wallace posted 10 points and 10 boards and Jeremy Wise scored 16 points on 5-for-9 shooting in defeat.
