In order to determine an objective team rankings, we calculate the difference between a team's own FIC per game and their opponents' FIC for the entire season.
The FIC is a single statistical measurement that encompasses things such as scoring efficiency, rebounding, blocked shots, etc. Its purpose is to combine the box score into one statistic, both on a team level and for players.
With the Euroleague Regular Season complete, the following is the current rankings heading into the Top-16 phase.
Barcelona, CSKA, Fenerbahce Ulker and Real Madrid headline four groups of the Top-16.
1. Barcelona Regal: 39.5
Erazem Lorbek, Juan Navarro, Pete Mickeal, Marcelinho Huertas and Chuck Eidson are each averaging better than nine points per game.
2. CSKA Moscow: 35.0
CSKA averages 1.65 assists for every turnover, which leads all Euroleague teams.
3. Real Madrid: 26.2
Madrid leads all teams in total shooting percentage at 173.6%. Nikola Mirotic has particularly helped in this category with a TS% of 69.8%.
4. Panathinaikos: 20.6
Panathinaikos leads Euroleague in steal percentage at 12.1%.
5. Montepaschi Siena: 12.2
McCalebb has an unreal True Shooting Percentage of 83.3% in six Euroleague games, making 40 of his 54 field goal attempts.
6. Caja Laboral: 11.4
Mirza Teletovic led all scorers with 22.0 points per game.
7. Maccabi Tel Aviv: 10.5
Sofoklis Schortsanitis has a usage rating of 37.7% while scoring 1.7 points per shot.
8. UNICS Kazan: 9.3
UNICS is assisting on less than 50% of their made field goals, with Henry Domercant scoring 16.6 points per game.
9. Bilbao Basket: 7.9
D’or Fischer has made 37 of his 52 shot attempts for a FG% of 71.2%.
10. Olympiacos: 3.9
Vassilis Spanoulis has either scored or assisted on 39.8% of the buckets made by Olympiacos in Euroleague play.
11. Fenerbahce Ulker: 0.2
Thabo Sefolosha led the team in rebounds (6.0) and steals (2.1) per game in his seven Euroleague appearances.
12. Armani Milano: -1.5
Danilo Gallinari averaged 16.4 points per game for Milan, with his high coming in his last Euroleague game on November 24th.
13. Anadolu Efes: -1.9
Ersan Ilyasova had a PER of 25.0 in his eight Euroleague games.
14. Bennet Cantu: -3.7
With Vladimir Micov, Maarty Leunen, Giorgi Shermadini, Manuchar Markosihvili and Gianluca Basile averaging between 8.1 points and 10.5 points per game, the team has very balanced scoring.
15. Brose Baskets: -4.2
Brose Baskets has several American players, with Marcus Slaughter leading in points, rebounds, blocks and steals, and Casey Jacobsen leading in assists. P.J. Tucker also is averaging a solid 8.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Olimpija was outscored by 15.6 points per game.
24. KK Zagreb: -31.8
Josh Heytvelt averaged 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while doing a lot of his damage from distance, including hitting seven three-pointers in a game against Brose Baskets.
