Should we have fired our coaching staff? Should we have shopped #7 this off season? Will our rotation be better? Have we done enough to back to 500? Any thoughts on our third base prospect saying he will hit 45-55 homeruns this season?

Will the rotation be better? It should be improved some just because now there is some talent there. The starters were horrible last year but none of them have big league talent to be a 1-3 in the rotation. Most of them were #5s if everything broke right for them as prospects. Hard to blame too much of that on the staff, thought they should all be blamed for hicks and what he went through last yr. And trading Mauer would kill the already poor attendance numbers. Moving him to first hopefully gets more out of him at the plate and saves his legs more, so maybe a slight uptick in power. But this isnt a .500 team yet. Starting pitching still has too many questions to go with a below average offense. And I dont see sano hitting that many at the big league level just because there is a good chance he starts the year in the minors.

Lot of journeymen and young guys need to improve to be any good. They need Diamond to return to form from 2 years ago and Gibson needs to be a true ace. Its probably asking too much for guys like Nolasco, Correia, and Hughes to all of a sudden start being way better pitchers in the middle of their careers. The most likely chance is a young guy finding his groove.
