Iowa Energy point guard Curtis Stinson was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of Feb. 15, 2010.  The award is Stinston?s first this season, and the second of his NBA D-League career.

Stinson led the Energy to a 3-0 record last week, including victories at Los Angeles, Idaho and Utah.  During the week Stinson collected double-digit assists in all three victories, while scoring 16 points against Los Angeles and 13 points against Utah.  For the week, Stinson averaged 12.7 points, 15.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds.  

The NBA D-League?s assist-leader this season, Stinson has appeared in 35 games, all starts, for Iowa this season and is averaging 14.5 points, 10.3 assists and 5.6 rebounds.

The Erie BayHawks? Mike Gansey was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played during the Week of Jan. 25, 2010.

Gansey, who was traded to Erie on Dec. 31, 2009 from the Idaho Stampede, led Erie to a 2-1 record last week, including two road victories over the Springfield Armor.  He scored a season-high 27 points in 48 minutes on Jan. 30 in Springfield.  

The 6-4 guard out of West Virginia averaged 24.3 points, on 51 percent shooting (11-of-23) from the field, to go with  7.3 rebounds 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals.  He scored more than 20 points in all three contests.
