Rio Grande Valley’s Andrew Goudelock and Fort Wayne’s Tony Mitchell have been named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played March 18 – March 24. This is the second time Mitchell has received Performer of the Week honors this season.

Goudelock (6-3, 200, College of Charleston) led the Vipers to a 3-0 week averaging 26.3 points on 60 percent shooting from the field to go with 5.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds.  He scored a season-high 41 points on 16-of-23 shooting on March 24 in a 116-107 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, which helped Rio Grande Valley clinch a playoff berth. In 31 games for Rio Grande Valley this season he is averaging 20.8 points, 5.9 assists 4.3 rebounds and 37.3 minutes.

Mitchell (6-6, 216, Alabama) finished the week averaging 34.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 46 percent from the floor.  On March 22 he connected on a game-tying three-pointer as time expired in double overtime, then nailed a game-winning jumpshot in triple overtime to lock down a 106-104 victory over Austin. Mitchell finished with a game-high 47 points, the second highest total in the league this season. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have recalled rookie guard Doron Lamb from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League (D-League).

Lamb has appeared in six games for the Mad Ants to date, averaging 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 25.5 minutes per game. 

The Indiana Pacers have reassigned Miles Plumlee to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Indiana’s NBA Development League affiliate. 

Plumlee (6-11, 255, Duke) re-joins the Mad Ants following seven previous assignments when he played in 12 games and averaged 12.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 31.2 minutes. He has appeared in seven games for the Pacers this season, averaging 0.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.6 minutes.

The NBA D-League has announced their 2013 All-Star teams.

Fourteen of the players have NBA experience and several are currently on NBA rosters.

On the Future All-Star roster are Micah Downs, Courtney Fortson, Ron Howard, Jerome Jordan, Jeremy Lamb, Marcus Landry, Shelvin Mack, Arinze Onuaku, DaJuan Summers and Chris Wright.

On the Prospects All-Star roster are Andrew Goudelock, Damion James, Terrence Jones, Cory Joseph, D.J. Kennedy, James Mays, Jerel McNeal, Demetric Nichols, Tim Ohlbrecht and Henry Sims.

Originally assigned to the Mad Ants on Jan. 12, Lamb appeared in two games for Fort Wayne during his first D-League assignment and averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 24.5 minutes per game. He was recalled to Milwaukee on Jan. 21.

Bakerfield’s Damion James, now of the Brooklyn Nets, Austin’s Cory Joseph, on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, Reno’s Marcus Landry, Sioux Falls’ Dexter Pittman, on assignment from the Miami Heat, and Texas’ Chris Roberts comprise the Second Team.

The Los Angeles’ Courtney Fortson, Fort Wayne’s Ron Howard, Erie’s D.J. Kennedy, Rio Grande Valley’s Terrence Jones, on assignment from the Houston Rockets, and Tulsa’s Daniel Orton, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, round out the third team.

Luke Harangody of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games Played Jan. 7-13.  

Harangody led the Mad Ants to a 3-0 week, including two wins at the 2013 NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nev. He averaged 21.3 points on 43 percent shooting to go with 16.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists. He scored a season-high 27 points in a 116-97 win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Jan. 9 and posted a season-high 21 rebounds in a 112-84 road win over the Erie BayHawks on Jan. 12.

Lamb (6-4, 210, Kentucky) has appeared in 23 games for the Bucks this season, averaging 3.4 points and 12.2 minutes and scoring a season-high eight points on four occasions.

Tony Mitchell of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Dec. 31 – Jan 6.  

A 6-6, 216-pound forward out of Alabama, Mitchell led the Mad Ants to back-to-back wins over the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 21.5 points, to go along with 7.0, rpg, 3.0 apg, and 2.5 spg.  On Jan 3, he recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and collecting 16 rebounds in a 102-86 victory over the Warriors.
