The Iowa Energy have signed Josh Boone.

Boone was the 23rd overall pick by the Nets in 2006.

The former Connecticut Husky averaged 5.2 points and 4.9 rebounds in his four years with the Nets.

Boone spent part of last season with Iowa.

The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Jarvis Varnado to a 10-day contract.

Varnado was named a D-League All-Star for the Iowa Energy and is averaging 14.1 points along with a league-high 4.7 blocks while also ranking second in rebounding with 11.0 rpg.  He signed a 10-day contract with Chicago on February 18, 2014 and appeared in one game.
