The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled Darius Morris and Robert Sacre from the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.
Morris and Sacre were both assigned to the D-Fenders on Wednesday and started in that day's game against the Canton Charge, helping the team overcome a 25-point second half deficit in a 114-109 victory in El Segundo. Sacre posted 14 points, six rebounds, and two blocks in 31 minutes, while Morris tallied nine points, nine assists, six rebounds and a steal in 34 minutes.
The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned guard Darius Morris and center Robert Sacre to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.
Morris scored 21 points and handed out four assists in one game with the D-Fenders last year.
On assignment for the fifth time this season, Sacre has suited up for the D-Fenders in five games, averaging 12.0 points and 8.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 32.2 minutes.
The Los Angeles D-Fenders have reacquired forward Malcolm Thomas.
Thomas, a 6-9, 230 pound forward out of San Diego State University, most recently played for Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel from October 2012 to February 2013.
The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired center Jerome Jordan from the Reno Bighorns in exchange for forward Ronald Dupree and guard Orien Greene.
A 2013 NBA Development League All-Star, Jordan appeared in 24 games with the Bighorns this season, averaging 13.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 30.4 minutes. Jordan has averaged 13.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 29 career NBA D-League games.

On the Future All-Star roster are Micah Downs, Courtney Fortson, Ron Howard, Jerome Jordan, Jeremy Lamb, Marcus Landry, Shelvin Mack, Arinze Onuaku, DaJuan Summers and Chris Wright.
On the Prospects All-Star roster are Andrew Goudelock, Damion James, Terrence Jones, Cory Joseph, D.J. Kennedy, James Mays, Jerel McNeal, Demetric Nichols, Tim Ohlbrecht and Henry Sims.
The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired Morris Almond and Mike Taylor from the Iowa Energy in exchange for Jarrid Famous and a 2013 first round draft pick.
Almond, a two-time NBA Development League All-Star (2008, 2010) and NBA D-League Impact Player of the Year (2008), has averaged 23.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 137 career NBA D-League games (128 starts) with Iowa, Maine, Springfield and Utah.
Taylor (6’2” / 170lbs), who most recently played for CEZ Basketball Nymburk (Czech Republic), returns to the NBA D-League for the first time since playing for the Energy during the 2010-11 season.
Lazar Hayward has re-signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Hayward was signed by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 31 and became a free agent on Jan. 18.
In 72 career NBA games with the Thunder and Timberwolves, Hayward has averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 8.2 minutes. The 6-6, 225 pound forward also played three games with Tulsa of the NBA Development League in 2012, averaging 24.0 points 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34.3 minutes.
