Claver will replace Joffrey Lauvergne who recently joined the Denver Nuggets.
Claver was waived by the Nuggets following his trade to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Nuggets Working Toward Signing Joffrey Lauvergne
The Denver Nuggets are making progress in signing Joffrey Lauvergne to a contract that would begin this season.
Lauvergne was a second round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.
Lauvergne cut ties with Khimki of Moscow on Tuesday, which frees him to sign with the Nuggets.
The Nuggets still have "logistical hurdles," as one league source said, to clear before completing a contract agreement with Lauvergne.
