Wizards Expect Tomas Satoransky To Join Team In 16-17

Tomas Satoransky is expected to join the Washington Wizards next season.

Wizards' officials met with Satoransky, 23, this summer when his native Czech Republic played against Marcin Gortat’s Polish national team in preparation for the upcoming EuroBasket tournament.

Satoransky was the 32nd overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and is entering the final season of his contract with Barcelona. Satoransky averaged 8.1 points and 3.3 assists in 20.3 minutes last season. He shot 54.2 percent from the floor, including 43.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 83.9 percent from the free throw line.

Satoransky figures to be John Wall's primary backup at point guard.

Kobe Bryant Expresses Interest In Ending Career With Barcelona

Kobe Bryant watched Barcelona's training session in Los Angeles on Monday.

Barcelona's soccer team are in the United States on a preseason tour.

Bryant reportedly talked to Albert Soler, director of International Relations for the club, about ending his career with Barcelona.

"Kobe has offered to end his career here," said Soler.

Soler also reference Bryant reuniting with Pau Gasol.

Bryant is entering the final season of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Willy Hernangomez Signs With Real Madrid

Willy Hernangomez is returning to Real Madrid after two seasons on loan at CB Sevilla.

Hernangomez was the 35th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and his draft rights were traded to the New York Knicks.

Hernangomez was teammates with Kristaps Porzingis on Sevilla.

Sergio Llull, Real Madrid Agree Upon New Deal With Lower Buyout

Sergio Llull has agreed upon an agreement with Real Madrid on a deal that runs through the 20-21 season.

Llull and the Houston Rockets were discussing a deal earlier in the offseason.

Llull's buyout, however, will be lower than the €5 million mark in his previous deal.

Mario Hezonja, Barcelona Agree Upon $1.4M Buyout

Mario Hezonja and Barcelona have agreed upon a $1.4 million buyout.

Hezonja was the fifth overall pick by the Orlando Magic and will join the team immediately.

Ante Tomic Remains Undecided On Joining Jazz

Ante Tomic remains undecided about his NBA plans.

Tomic was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2008 and they would like to bring him over to help their frontcourt rotation.

"It’s neither yes nor no," Tomic told the Spanish publication Gigantes when asked whether he plans to leave Barcelona for the NBA and the Utah Jazz. "It’s difficult to summarize. Sometimes I see myself there and others no. I still have time to think it over."

Tomic has played for Barcelona since 2012 and is already 28 years old.

Nick Calathes Denies Wanting To Return To Europe

Nick Calathes has denied a report from Spain that claimed he wants out of the NBA and has been offered to Barcelona.

"The NBA is my first priority," Calathes said.

 

Calathes will be a restricted free agent this summer after two seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Calathes previously spent four years in Europe.
