The Boston Celtics are interested in signing D.J. White to a 10-day contract.

White has been playing this season in China.

White averaged 21.6 points on 55.9 percent shooting with 9.7 rebounds over 32 games for Shanghai Dongfang.

Celtics Sign Terrence Williams To 10-Day Deal

The Boston Celtics have officially signed free agent guard/forward Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract.

Williams, a 6’6” guard/forward, joins the Celtics after competing in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Guangdong Southern Tigers. While with Guangdong, he averaged 17.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 29 games.

Tracy McGrady Scores 32 In Loss

Tracy McGrady scored 32 points on 9-for-20 shooting from the floor and 11-for-14 from the free throw line in his second game in the Chinese CBA.

McGrady also had five rebounds, five assists, two steals and three turnovers.

McGrady's Qingdao lost to Gunagdong Foshan by a final score of 92-80.

Shavlik Randolph led the winners with 29 points, while Rashad McCants had 16.

Shavlik Randolph Signs With Foshan Long Lions

Shavlik Randolph has signed a free agent deal with the Foshan Long Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Randolph was waived by the Washington Wizards during training camp in October.

Randolph spent last season with Piratas de Quebradillas, where he averaged 22.9 points on 47.3 percent shooting.

Rashad McCants Received Interest From Pacers Before China Deal

The Indiana Pacers expressed interest in Rashad McCants before he signed a deal in China with Foshan.

McCants last played in the NBA in 2009 with the Kings.

A source told RealGM's Shams Charania that McCants still hopes he can make a comeback to the NBA following the current season.

Terrence Williams Signs With Guandong Tigers

Terrence Williams signed a free agent deal with the Guandong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Williams spent portions of three seasons with the New Jersey Nets, Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings.

Williams was waived by the Detroit Pistons on Oct. 22.

Arenas spent last season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Mavericks Waive Josh Akognon

The Mavericks waived Josh Akognon, who was signed as free agent on Sept. 27.

Akognon played in three preseason games and averaged 2.3 points in 3.7 minutes.

A source told RealGM in September that Akognon would return to China assuming he didn't make the regular season roster of the Mavericks.

McGrady To Sign With Qingdao Of China

Tracy McGrady is finalizing a one-year contract with Qingdao of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to sources.

McGrady was unsuccessful in trying to secure a guaranteed NBA contract for this season and decided against trying to make a roster in training camp.

McGrady is still considered a popular player in China due in part to his long tenure as Yao Ming's teammate with the Rockets.

McGrady worked out for both the Knicks and Spurs within the past month.

D.J. White Signs With Shanghai Sharks

D.J. White has agreed one a one-year deal with the Shaghai Sharks, according to a source.

White will be free to join an NBA team when the Chinese Basketball Association season ends in March.
