Real Madrid, Barcelona Advance To Spanish Cup Final

With their respective victories on Saturday, Barcelona will meet Real Madrid in the championship game of the Spanish Cup.

Barcelona defeated Caja Laboral by a final score of 66-57. Erazem Lorbek scored 26 points on 19 shots from the floor. Barcelona went into the fourth quarter trailing, but their defense led the way by limiting Caja Laboral to just five points.

Nikola Mirotic led Real Madrid in their 92-84 win over Cajasol, scoring 21 points on 12 shots from the floor. Sergio Llull had 17 points and seven assists and Carlos Suarez had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Real Madrid, Cajasol Advance To Spanish Cup Semifinals

On Friday in the Spanish Cup, Cajasol defeated Unicaja Malaga by a final score of 77-65 and Real Madrid beat Baloncesto Fuenlabrada by a 75-66 decision.

Both teams advanced to the Semifinals where they will meet on Saturday.

Barcelona will play Caja Laboral in the other Semifinal game.

Felipe Reyes led Real Madrid with 17 points and 12 rebounds to finish with a game FIC of 19.2.

Cajasol was led by Earl Calloway (16 points) and Luka Bogdanovic (13 points).
