Angelico Biella team president Antonio Forni denied rumors that Jacob Pullen might leave the team before the end of the season.
"A lot of important clubs asked info on Pullen. But we are not interested in shopping him before the end of the season. Our goal is to keep him with us," Forni said.
Pullen, a rookie out of Kansas State, is averaging 16.4 points and 3.5 assists in 24 games in Serie A play.
Nikola Jankovic, who is seeking his first professional contract, recently practiced with Angelico Biella of the Italian League.
Partizan Belgrade, which is headquartered in Jankovic’s native Serbia, is also believed to be aggressively pursuing the 6-foot-8 forward.
Jankovic was voted top defensive player of the 2012 Nike International Junior Tournament.
