DeJuan Blair is in serious talks to play in Russia during the NBA lockout, according to sources.
Blair would be eligible to return to the NBA when a deal is reached.
A deal can be agreed upon within the week.
Thaddeus Young has received attention from teams in China, according to his agent Jim Tanner.
“I have been contacted by multiple teams in China expressing very serious interest in having Thaddeus Young play in their league this season,” Tanner said. “I have discussed this with Thad and he is intrigued by the possibility of playing in China if the lockout continues and has asked me to further explore these opportunities. At this point, our conversations with the teams have been preliminary but we are continuing to talk and to do our due diligence on each option.”
Young is a restricted free agent.

The point guard from Canada spent last season with Panionios.
Julius Hodge has signed with BK Minsk-2006.
Hodge was the 20th overall selection of the 2005 NBA Draft out of N.C. State.
BC Armia is close to signing Sundiata Gaines and Will Thomas.
Gaines will sign an agreement that contains an out clause to return to the NBA.
BC Armia also recently signed Jeremy Richardson.
Patty Mills will sign with the Melbourne Tigers, according to a report out of Australia.
Mills will likely return to the Blazers when the NBA resolves its lockout.
Mills has been subject to European offers, Basketball Australia declared it would help NBL clubs sign Mills.

BC Armia won last season's Georgian league.
Richardson, who came out of Delta State in 2006, played sparingly in the NBA with the Hawks, Magic, Spurs, Grizzlies and Blazers.
Hapoel Jerusalem has signed D.J Strawberry to a two-year contract.
Strawberry was most recently with Rytas Vilna.
Negotiations between Wilson Chandler and Olimpia Milano are ongoing, but there is no deal yet.
"I can confirm that we are negotiating with Olimpia Milano and we are talking on a daily basis but the contract is not signed yet. Milano is a great team" said agent Chris Luchey.
