Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kyle Weaver underwent successful surgery today to repair damage sustained due to a dislocated left shoulder.
This season Weaver is averaging 6.0 points, 1.7 assists, 1.0 rebound, 1.0 block and 10.0 minutes in three games.
Rehabilitation is estimated at a minimum of four months and his status will be updated as necessary.

Nets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe is on the verge of being named as the replacement for fired coach Lawrence Frank, according to NBA coaching sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that Nets president Rod Thorn wants Frank's replacement in place before Tuesday's practice.
Del Harris will be hired as a virtual co-coach.
The Timberwolves are interested in forward Rudy Gay, sources told HoopsWorld.
Gay, who turned down a contract extension with the Grizzlies this past offseason, is set to become a restricted free agent after the season.
"I think he's going to regret that," the source said of Gay turning down a lucrative extension with Memphis. "I don't see how he gets more than that on the open market next summer."
Timberwolves forward Kevin Love could soon begin practicing in the wake of a broken left hand.
He will see a doctor Thursday to determine if he's ready to practice.
"You can't put a date on it, but if the bone has healed like we hope it has, it should be shortly thereafter," Minnesota president of basketball operations David Kahn said Sunday.
The Timberwolves have missed the 9.1 rebounds per game Love provided last season.
"He's going to need a few practices, certainly, practices in which he gets hit," Kahn said. "But (Thursday) is an important date."
Lakers forward Ron Artest is a career 72% shooter from the foul line, but he's shooting only 52.2% this season.
"He told me he doesn't shoot free throws well until somewhere in the second third of the season," coach Phil Jackson said. "So he's given up already on this first third of the season."
According to the Los Angeles Times, a shoulder injury last season forced Artest to alter his free-throw stroke.
"He's got this nasty hitch in his shot that we're trying to correct and he can't rid of it," Jackson said. "I've noticed a slight improvement."
The Knicks are being cautious with the injured left knee of center Eddy Curry.
Curry missed his third straight game on Sunday because of a tender left knee, which caused him to miss all but three games last season.
"It's still swollen, we're not going to rush it, we'll make sure the swelling goes down all the way and evaluate it and see how it looks," Curry told The New York Post.
The Knicks are hoping that because the center is in better shape, his knee will heal more quickly.
Patrick Ewing told the New York Post on Sunday that he would love to coach the Nets.
Ewing has been an assistant coach for the last seven seasons.
"Of course," Ewing said. "I would be back home. I still live in New Jersey. I just want an opportunity. Yes, I would love to coach the Nets."
New Jersey fired Lawrence Frank after the team opened up the season with an 0-16 record.
The 76ers met with free-agent guard Allen Iverson for two hours on Monday in Dallas.
The team released the following statement:
"This afternoon, we met with free agent Allen Iverson in Dallas for the first formal discussion regarding a possible return to the Philadelphia 76ers. The meeting lasted approximately two hours and covered a variety of topics, all of which we would prefer to keep between the team and Allen," general manager Ed Stefanski said.
"Joining me at the meeting with Allen, his agent Leon Rose and his personal manager Gary Moore was Senior Vice President/Assistant General Manager Tony DiLeo, Head Coach Eddie Jordan and Assistant Coach Aaron McKie.
"At this time, both parties remain non-committal regarding a final decision and we will continue to discuss internally whether or not to pursue this course.
"We want to thank Allen, Leon and Gary for taking the time to meet with us today."
The Grizzlies are going to keep tabs on the injured shoulder of point guard Mike Conley.
Jamaal Tinsley started at the position in the second half of Sunday's game against the Clippers after Conley hurt his left shoulder.
"(Baron Davis) kind of yanked my shoulder a little bit, and I felt a little pop," Conley said of the sprained shoulder. "I had to sit down and get the feeling back in my arm. Once I got the feeling back, I was able to play."
He didn't log many minutes in the second half despite trying to play.
"I've just got to watch it the next couple of days and make sure it gets stronger," Conley said. "It's not serious. It was stiff for a while but I'm sure I'll be OK."
The return of swingman Mike Dunleavy is expected to greatly improve the movement of the Pacers' offense.
Dunleavy made his season debut on Friday in a loss to the Mavericks. He missed most of last season with a lingering knee issue.
His first basket came on a backdoor layup, something Indiana coach Jim O'Brien wants to see more of.
"I can count on one hand how many backdoor layups we've had this year, and last year it was a staple for us," O'Brien said. "We're trying to re-establish our movement game, which is one that starts with the fact that we'd rather pass than dribble.
"Michael personifies the type of movement we want. It doesn't have to do with blinding speed. It has to be purposeful movement, which is what he's very, very good at."
Dunleavy will be limited to 20 minutes for the foreseeable future, but the 13 points in 16 minutes he had against Dallas showcased his potential impact.
"He's constantly moving, so he can create without the ball in his hands, which is what you need," teammate Danny Granger said. "And he brings another shooter, which we really need. And he's a veteran, so he knows what he's doing.
"A lot of players kind of beg for the ball or get caught up standing in one spot. Mike's constantly moving, and his movement makes other people move. He gets other people shots and makes the offense flow better."
