The Boston Celtics received offers from multiple teams at the trade deadline of low first round picks and expiring contracts for Avery Bradley.

Bradley is on the first year of a new contract signed last offseason.

Avery is one of the NBA's best perimeter defenders and is a competent three-point shooter.

Kawhi Leonard will be a restricted free agent in the offseason and will receive interest for contract offer sheets.

The Boston Celtics likely will pursue an offer sheet with Leonard.

Leonard is averaging 15.9 points and 7.3 rebounds this season.

Gerald Wallace is signed through the 15-16 season with $10 million remaining on his deal with the Boston Celtics.

While Wallace will fulfill his contract, he will spend this offseason debating whether he's interested in extending it to 16-17.

“Hopefully, I’ll reflect going into the last year of my deal,” he said. “This is my [14th] year. You kind of sit back and look at your career and all you’ve done and kind of just evaluate your past and try to set up for your future and see what you want to do. That’s the time I’ll do it, in the offseason.”

Wallace would be in his 16th season if he's still playing in 16-17.

“I would love to continue to play, but it’s more about my family and my kids,” he said. “I’m only 32 years old and I’ve been in here 14 years. That’s almost half of my life in this league. My kids are getting older. They’re starting to play high school sports now. It depends on if they’re comfortable with me still playing or they’re ready for me to come home and be part of their lives.”

The Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz are showing interest in the possible call up of Eric Griffin of Texas in the NBA D-League, league sources told RealGM.

Griffin — one of the D-League’s best wing prospects — has averaged 17.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per night in 39 games for the Texas Legends. He joined Dallas’ affiliate after signing an offseason deal to training camp with the Mavericks.

Griffin was a starter in February’s D-League All-Star game, and met with the Clippers during the weekend in New York.

The 6-foot-8 forward played for the Miami Heat in the 2013 preseason, showcasing an elite jumping ability by jumping over the 6-foot-10 Mason Plumlee in an exhibition game.

Out of Campbell in the 2012 NBA Draft, Griffin, 24, has also played professionally in Italy, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

The Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls have registered interest in JaVale McGee.

McGee and the Boston Celtics were unable to close a deal on a contract on Thursday.

McGee is a talented two-way center that has struggled staying healthy and with maturity issues.

The Celtics wanted to have a team option for the 15-16 season, while McGee wanted it as a player option.

McGee will return to the open market.

The Boston Celtics are close to agreement upon on a contract with JaVale McGee.

McGee's deal with the Celtics will be through next season.

McGee also received interest from a number of definite playoff teams.

The Philadelphia 76ers waived McGee after agreeing to buy out his contract in full.

"Javale is a long, athletic guy," Ainge said when asked for a scouting report on McGee. "We don’t have that type of player. Above the rim, he’s an offensive and defensive player. He’s been paid a lot of money in our league. He’s had some injuries, but he hasn’t lived up to his potential yet. We’re hoping that he can under Brad’s tutelage. I think he’s in a good place emotionally and mentally. I think he really wants to get his career on the right path."

Ainge also tried to explain why he believes McGee has had some difficulties in his career.

"I think that JaVale being a young kid coming in out of college, there’s a lot of growing pains with a lot of young kids," Ainge said. "They don’t go about it right, they don’t go about their careers correctly. They are into the NBA lifestyle, as opposed to being a pro, and working, and trying to improve yourself, and have a long lasting career. I’m not sure what’s gone on with JaVale and why he hasn’t reached his potential. I know he has a lot of potential, and I do think coaching personalities, team philosophies, team style of play and opportunity are usually what it takes for young kids to succeed."

Andrew Wiggins and Marcus Smart have been named the Rookies of the Month for February.

Wiggins averaged 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in February for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Smart averaged 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists for the month for the Boston Celtics.

Jonas Jerebko will be a free agent after the season, but clear the Boston Celtics have interest in keeping him around.

“Jerebko’s somebody that we’ve tried to get before,” Danny Ainge said. “We like shooting bigs. I love guys that know how to play and can shoot 3’s and have length.

“As a spacer at the 4 position, I’ve always liked him. And that’s what he does well is spread the floor. He can shoot the 3 and he can attack close-outs. He just knows how to play.”

The Celtics aquired Jerebko in a trade with the Detroit Pistons.

Isaiah Thomas and Damian Lillard have been named the NBA's Players of the Week.

Thomas was traded to the Boston Celtics at the deadline.

In wins over San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Sacramento, Lillard averaged 26.0 points (49.1% FG, 50% 3-PT, 93.3% FT), 4.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists.
