Derrick Rose received a concrete offer from a team in Croatia, but he will not be playing for the team unless the lockout becomes prolonged.

"We reached an economic agreement, but we could not find an agreement about the games," KK Zagreb's Hrvoje Ciketiae said in the interview. "Rose for sponsor obligations would have missed three Euroleague games. And we could not allow that."

The team said it wanted to sign Rose for 22 games.

Derrick Rose was a passenger in his close friend Randall Hampton's car when the latter was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles early on Friday morning.

Hampton was arrested after a field sobriety test at approximately 2:00 AM, while Rose was free to go, according to TMZ, which first reported Hampton’s arrest.

Several of the NBA's biggest stars are planning an overseas world tour.

From October 30th to November 9th, players will tour Puerto Rico, London, Macau and Australia.

Players will be paid up to $1 million and some of the money will also go to charity.

Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Blake Griffin, Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Paul and Carlos Boozer are expected to appear.

Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett may also appear in the tour.

If the NBA is able to reach a deal on a new collective bargaining agreement, then the tour will be canceled.

Along with David Bowie and Lenford Kwesi Garrison, Luol Deng is being featured on the Brixton Pound.

Deng's face appears on the five-pound note.

The Brixton Pound was launched on September 17th, 2009 and is a local currency that is available as an alternative to the pound sterling.
