Moe Harkless is receiving interest from the Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

Harkless is a restricted free agent, which gives the Portland Trail Blazers the right to match.

The Blazers acquired Harkless from the Orlando Magic last offseason and he has value as a combo forward.

The New York Knicks are considered heavy favorites to sign Joakim Noah in free agency.

Noah is expected to part ways with the Chicago Bulls this offseason after joining them in the 2007 NBA Draft via a pick swap from the Eddy Curry trade.

The Knicks acquired Derrick Rose from the Bulls via trade before last week's draft and they've expressed interest in continuing as teammates.

Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post reports Noah is expected to sign with the Knicks soon after the beginning of free agency with a starting salary in the $18 million per year range.

Shams Charania of The Vertical reports Noah has set a meeting with Phil Jackson for shortly after midnight on July 1st.

Joakim Noah has a specific priority list in mind as he weighs his free agent options along with his agent Bill Duffy.

Noah wants a chance to win first and foremost.

Noah then would like a chance to both start and finish games, as well as play for a team to support his Noah's Arc Foundation.

A source said the viewpoint that Noah will chase the best offer is “naïve.’’

“They obviously don’t know Jo’s make-up,’’ the source said.

Noah has reportedly ruled out re-signing with the Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls have discussed a trade involving Taj Gibson with multiple teams.

Gibson is in the final season of his contract worth $8.9 million.

If Chicago trades away Gibson, they would be left with a frontcourt rotation of Robin Lopez, Nikola Mirotic, Bobby Portis and Cristiano Felicio.

Gibson is already 31 as he was an older rookie coming into the NBA in 2009 out of USC.

The Minnesota Timberwolves reportedly drafted Kris Dunn at No. 5 to keep him as he wasn't expected to drop to them.

The Wolves' offer of Ricky Rubio and the No. 5 pick to the Chicago Bulls was made before Dunn slipped and not after.

"Obviously, we liked him," Gar Forman said of Dunn. "He's a very good player."

Chicago reportedly sought Zach LaVine from the Wolves in exchange for Butler.

The Chicago Bulls involved Jimmy Butler in trade discussions with both the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Bulls and Wolves appeared to especially zero in on a trade with Butler for Kris Dunn as the primary pieces.

Chicago also held talks with Boston trading for No. 3 with Dunn as the pick along with Jae Crowder and the 16th overall pick for Butler.

Gar Forman downplayed the reports of Butler trade talks and said he doesn't feel the need to reassure him about his future with the Bulls.

"We appreciate Jimmy," Forman said. "We value Jimmy. It's our job to listen about any player on our roster when there's interest. And obviously we call teams and express interest in players that they have."

Derrick Rose was introduced as a member of the New York Knicks on Friday just two days after he was traded by the Chicago Bulls.

Rose is in the final season of his current contract.

“I don’t know why I was traded,” said Rose, “but I would like to tell them thank you. For real.”

Rose said the feeling of being with the Knicks still doesn't feel real.

"It still don’t feel real. Seeing my picture on a billboard or a screen outside the building, it kind of blew me away."

Rose also said he believes he can regain his MVP form.

"I feel like I’m close. But me sitting up here and saying it isn’t going to do anything."

The Bulls have reportedly sought Zach LaVine as part of the package for Butler.

Chicago has been considering going into a full rebuild mode this offseason and had strong interest in Dunn.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wolves have sought the opinion of Karl-Anthony Towns about the possibility of a trade for Butler and his opinions on players that might be traded for him.
