James' Toe May Be Sore For The Remainder Of The Season

Jan 31, 2007 8:43 PM

LeBron James' sore toe may be sore until summer.

The Cavaliers forward, who has missed two of Cleveland's last three games to rest a sprained right big toe, said Wednesday that his injury could linger for the remainder of this season.

"I hope not, but I think it will," James said following practice. "It's like you jam your finger or you get a light ankle sprain, those are the things that don't really get back until after the season. It's a concern, but not a big concern as long as it keeps getting better and progressing every day."

Miller Still At Home In Cleveland?

Jan 25, 2007 11:09 AM

Andre Miller was recently asked about trade rumors that he could be moved again, possibly to Cleveland.

"I have no idea," said Miller.  "Right now, I like the group I'm with. I just go out there and play basketball. It's not really my personality to go out and ask for a trade. Wherever I'm at, I just try to make the best of the situation and keep working hard."

Miller has a lot of friends in Cleveland still after being gone five years already.

Cavs coach Mike Brown said Miller changes the Sixers offense considerably.

"They try to get through their sets a lot more," Brown said. "With Allen Iverson, he's such a talent that they give him the ball and move out of the way, let him do his thing and play off him. Now guys know there's going to be opportunities to score the basketball, or at least get looks. Andre's a guy who can deliver the basketball."

LeBron Set To Appear In Microsoft Ad Campaign

Jan 24, 2007 1:14 AM

The ever-expanding LeBron James empire is entering a new realm.

Microsoft Corp. is using the star to promote next week's consumer release of its new Windows Vista operating system. James will make what a Microsoft spokesman described Tuesday as cameo appearances on television commercials that will begin airing Jan. 30.

James is the first NBA player that the Redmond, Wash.-based software giant has used to promote its products, Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos said. And Vista may not be the last Microsoft project for the Cavaliers guard.
