The Denver Nuggets have waived Joey Dorsey after agreeing upon a buyout.

Dorsey was acquired by the Nuggets by trade from the Houston Rockets on July 20.

Dorsey has agreed to sign in Turkey with Galatasaray.

Mike Malone said he had input on the Denver Nuggets' trade of Ty Lawson.

Malone said he continues to work closely with Tim Connelly, (assistant general manager) Arturas Karnisovas and (president) Josh Kroenke.

“We’re a team. There’s no separation between church and state,” Malone said. “We’re together, we’re one, we communicate, and I think that’s so important. But at the end of the day, Tim’s job as GM is to make those decisions, obviously with the blessing of Josh Kroenke. They asked my opinion, I gave it, I tell him what I feel and believe in, and then whatever decision they make I roll with it.”

Darrell Arthur has agreed to a two-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, according to a source.

Arthur's deal will include a player option in the second year.

The Denver Nuggets will waive Kostas Papanikolaou.

Papanikolaou's deal worth $4.7 million is non-guaranteed.

Papanikolaou was acquired from the Houston Rockets in the Ty Lawson trade.
