Shayne Whittington has been assigned to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League by the Indiana Pacers.

Whittington has played in 13 games for the Pacers this season with averages of 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.

Whittington was undrafted out of Western Michigan and signed as a free agent, July 2, 2014.

The average NBA franchise valuation is now a record $1.1 billion.

Frank Vogel continues to say Paul George still isn't expected back this season for the Indiana Pacers, but he is taking part in light non-contract basketball drills.

George underwent surgery in August for a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula after being injured in the Team USA Showcase in Las Vegas.

The Pacers are just two games out of the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

C.J. Watson was fined $5,000 for violating the NBA's anti-flopping rules for a second time, the league announced.

Watson's second flopping incident occurred vs. Utah on Jan. 5.

The Milwaukee Bucks attempted to trade Larry Sanders and Brandon Knight to the Indiana Pacers last offseason for Roy Hibbert.

The Pacers rejected the trade offer.
