Bird: Paul George Don't Make Decisions Around Here About Position Minutes

Jul 14, 2015 2:38 PM

Paul George has reservations about playing significant minutes at power forward as the Indiana Pacers try to play small-ball.

“I’m a ballplayer. You put me anywhere on the court, I’m going to make the most out of it,” he said. “It’s not going to be logging 30 minutes at the power forward. Whatever needs to be done. If I’ve got to play a couple of minutes at the power forward, I’m fine with it.”

Larry Bird was asked about George not wanting to play a lot of minutes at a position that will be more taxing on his body.

"He don't make decisions around here," said Bird.
