Blake Griffin has reached agreement to join the Jordan Brand as an endorser, according to a source.

Los Angeles Clippers' teammate Chris Paul is a longtime endorser of Jordan Brand, along with Carmelo Anthony.

Russell Westbrook also recently signed with Jordan Brand.

Lamar Odom continues to deal with a bone bruise in his left knee, which Vinny Del Negro blames on the Los Angeles Clippers trying to make up for arriving to camp out of shape.

"He was trying to battle through [the injury], but it got to the point where it was not making sense," Del Negro said. "So that was when he changed the process for him. He knows he needed to be in better shape coming in. They tried to tax his body a little bit and this is the result."

The Clippers hope Odom is available for the regular season opener.

Chris Paul has been hesitant while returning from offseason surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb.

Paul has played two preseason games for the Clippers.

"The other night, there were times that I knew that I could steal the ball, but I don't want to risk it," Paul said. "Even though the doctor says I'm good, the hardest part is getting it through your head."

Paul wears a brace on his thumb in practice and in games. The brace has affected his shot and dribbling.

"It ain't the easiest thing," Paul said. "But I'm learning to try to deal with it."

Chauncey Billups is ahead of schedule in his return from a left Achilles' tendon tear.

Billups may be able to return in late November due to how good he has looked in practice.

"He's been practicing," Vinny Del Negro said. "And now it's just a matter of when he feels ready. He'll know it."

Lamar Odom was held out of the Los Angeles Clippers' preseason game on Wednesday against the Jazz.

Odom's knees are bothering him, but he also is dealing with weight and conditioning issues.

"He's got to work through some conditioning things and some health things right now, which he's doing," Vinny Del Negro said. "Yeah, I wish he was in a little bit better conditioning, and he wishes he was. But he's just got to continue to work every day and I'm sure he'll get there eventually."
