Demetris Nichols — the Euroleague’s reigning leader in three-point shooting percentage — has had discussions with teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies, about a potential NBA return, a league source told RealGM.

Nichols, who played two seasons in the NBA between 2007 and 2009, shot 57.5 percent from three-point range this past season with CSKA Moscow. For Nichols, there is an interest to attempt an NBA comeback from the Euroleague, and some dialogue on the other end. In CSKA's platoon rotations, Nichols scored 4.6 points in 13 minutes per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans have also inquired on Nichols, a source said.

Out of Syracuse, Nichols was the No. 53 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft to the Portland Trail Blazers. The 6-foot-6 guard has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, NBA D-League and several overseas clubs.

The Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies recently discussed a trade centered on Joe Johnson.

The two sides were unable to find a framework suitable for both side.

But the Nets came away from the discussions encouraged they will find a trade partner this offseason for Johnson.

Johnson will be paid $24.9 million in the final season of his contract.

The Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons have also expressed interest in Johnson, but both teams have recently completed trades that would likely mean they won't deal for him.

Marc Gasol will be a free agent this offseason but he has no interest in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sources familiar with the situation indicate Gasol's lack of interest is due to "uneasy" final few years his brother, Pau Gasol, spent with the organization.

Gasol has spent his entire career with the Memphis Grizzlies.

French forward Jordan Aboudou has received invitations to NBA summer league with the Memphis Grizzlies, Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks as he negotiates his release from BCM Gravelines in France, a source told RealGM.

Aboudou, a 6-foot-6 product, averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds last season with Gravelines.

Aboudou went unselected in the 2013 NBA draft.

The Memphis Grizzlies have traded Jon Leuer to the Phoenix Suns for the draft rights for Andrew Harrison.

The Suns selected Harrison with the 44th overall pick.

The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to acquire Matt Barnes from the Charlotte Hornets for Luke Ridnour.

The Grizzlies acquired Ridnour from the Orlando Magic this week.

Ridnour's non-guaranteed contract will be waived by the Hornets.

Barnes went from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Hornets this offseason in the Lance Stephenson deal.

The Denver Nuggets have made Danilo Gallinari available in trade talks.

Gallinari signed a four-year, $42 million extension in 2012 that runs through 15-16.

Gallinari has been productive in his career, but frequently injured.

ESPN's Marc Stein reports the Grizzlies are among the teams interested in Galliarni.

The Orlando Magic have agreed to trade Luke Ridnour to the Memphis Grizzlies for the draft rights to 2013 second round pick Janis Timma.

Ridnour signed a two-year, $5.5 million contract with the Magic last offseason and averaged 14.5 minutes per game in 47 appearances in 14-15.

Jeff Green has picked up his $9.2 million player option with the Memphis Grizzlies for the 15-16 season.

Green was acquired by the Grizzlies during the season from the Boston Celtics.

Green will become a free agent in 2016.
