Sep 9, 2016 5:52 PM

Lance Stephenson has agreed to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Stephenson has been a free agent after the Memphis Grizzlies declined their team option on his contract.

Stephenson signed a three-year, $27 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets in 2014.

The Pelicans will be without Jrue Holiday for at least the first part of the season as he attends to his wife's health issues.

Vince Carter Hopes To Play Two More Seasons

Sep 6, 2016 11:53 AM

Vince Carter continues his NBA career at 39 many years removed from when he was one of the game's most explosive dunkers and best wing scorers.

Carter was asked what keeps him playing after all these years.

"Love for the game. Nothing else," said Carter.

"I just love to play. It's not out of me yet. When I don't want to play and don't want to put the work in, that's when I step away from the game, but right now I still love it."

Carter hopes to play at least two more seasons.

"Not right now," Carter said when asked about retirement. "We know No. 19 is definitely going to go down. I'm shooting for 20, and we'll go from there after that."

Carter will earn $4.3 million in 16-17, which marks the third and final year on the deal he signed with Memphis.
