The Wolves have announced that Michael Beasley and Anthony Randolph will not receive qualifying offers.

Beasley and Randolph were once considered two of the more talented players from the 2008 NBA Draft, but have failed to meet expectations while with Minnesota. 

Beasley was traded to the Wolves by the Heat in order to create additional cap space in 2010.

Brandon Roy has narrowed his list of free agent options to the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors, according to sources.

Roy expects to meet with those teams over the next few days in Seattle.

Each of the teams have a special intrigue for Roy.

The Wolves are pursuing Pau Gasol and are offering Derrick Williams in the process, according to two sources.

Minnesota offered Derrick Williams to the Bobcats for the No. 2 overall pick in hopes of helping to acquire Gasol.

The Wolves want to pair Gasol with Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio.

Gasol is owed approximately $38 million over the next two seasons.

The Wolves have been shopping Derrick Williams since the deadline, according to sources.

Minnesota reported offered Williams to the Bobcats in exchange for the No. 2 overall pick. Charlotte quickly declined the offer.

David Kahn confirmed Minnesota is interested in signing Brandon Roy, who officially becomes a free agent Sunday.

"(I) don't want to talk about that other than to say we're interested in him," Kahn said.

Roy averaged 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists during his last season with the Blazers.

The Sixers, Timberwolves and Celtics have inquired about the availability of Jamal Crawford, according to a league source.

Crawford has an opt out option at the end of year one.

The Clippers and Suns have also reached out to the Blazers about a potential deal involving Crawford.

The Wolves have acquired Chase Budinger in a trade with the Rockets in exchange for the 18th overall pick, according to sources.

Houston has also included the draft rights to Lior Eliyahu.

The Rockets now own the 14th, 16th and 18th picks in the first round.

Brandon Roy will attempt a comeback to the NBA and his top suitors are the Bulls, Mavericks, Pacers and Wolves, according to sources.

Roy's recovery from chronic knee problems has been recently spurred by undergoing the platelet rich plasma therapy procedure, sources said.

The Golden State Warriors have also expressed strong interest with Roy. The Warriors' general manager, Bob Myers, was Roy's agent with the Wasserman Media Group.

Several teams could be willing to use their full-mid level exception for Roy, sources said.

Indiana could have an advantage in pursuing Roy due to the presence of Kevin Pritchard, who was general manager of the Blazers when he was drafted.

Royce White would like to play for the Timberwolves.

A Minnesota native, White sent a message from Fred Hoiberg to David Kahn that he'd give his "pinky toe" to play for his hometown team.
