Ricky Rubio has been cleared to play on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, according to a source.

Rubio has been out since severely injuring his left ankle Nov. 7 and will have missed 43 games because of the injury.

The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to restrict Rubio's minutes until after the All-Star break while he sees how his ankle responds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are making Mo Williams available in trade talks.

Williams signed with the Wolves in the offseason and the club is looking for draft pick compensation.

Williams scored 52 points on Jan. 13.

The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to sign Lorenzo Brown to a 10-day contract.

Miroslav Raduljica has agreed to sign a second 10-day contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Raduljica was previously in China and signed a 10-day deal with the Wolves earlier in January.

Raduljica has played in 6.3 minutes per game over three games with the Wolves.

The Brooklyn Nets have interest in trading for Thaddeus Young if they are able to complete a deal involving Brook Lopez for Kendrick Perkins.

The Nets would look to flip Perkins for Young.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are willing to trade Young, who was acquired this past offseason.
