According to a report published in the New York Daily News, two Nets sources said the team has and will continue to discuss whether obtaining Kenyon Martin this summer is realistic and feasible.
The Nets signed and traded Martin to Denver in July 2004 for three future first round picks after refusing to give him a maximum contract. He is still owed $70 million over the next five seasons.
Nets president Rod Thorn says he does not want to trade Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson or Nenad Krstic unless a superstar comes back in return.
