Chris McCullough has been assigned to the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn’s NBA Development League affiliate.

McCullough has started 14 games on assignment with Long Island this season, recording averages of 19.6 points and 8.5 rebounds in 32.1 minutes per game. 

In 10 games for Brooklyn this season, McCullough has averaged 2.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.6 minutes per contest.

Jeremy Lin played in his first game since Nov. 2nd when he suffered a strained left hamstring.

Lin did not start but he did play 20 minutes off the bench for the Brooklyn Nets in their loss to Houston, scoring 20 points.

"I felt a lot better than I thought I would with my wind, but I struggled with the rhythm," Lin said. "The shots, the feel and getting back out there -- you practice all these shots, but I got in there and it felt like I was shooting a football."

The Nets signed Lin to a three-year, $36 million deal in free agency.

The Brooklyn Nets have signed Spencer Dinwiddie to a partially guaranteed three-year deal.

Dinwiddie played in 46 games over the past two seasons with the Detroit Pistons.

Dinwiddie was averaging 19.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 8.1 assists in nine games in the D-League this season. 

The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on guard Yogi Ferrell.

Ferrell, who signed with Brooklyn on November 9, appeared in 10 games for the Nets posting averages of 5.4 points and 1.7 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.

The Nets roster now stands at 14 players.

The Houston Rockets have matched the offer sheet Donatas Motiejunas signed with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets have signed Donatas Motiejunas to a four-year, $37 million offer sheet.

With Motiejunas being a restricted free agent, the Houston Rockets have 72 hours to match.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports Motiejunas' deal includes two non-guaranteed years on the back end.

The Rockets traded Motiejunas to the Detroit Pistons last February but the trade was later rescinded following concerns about the condition of his back.

The Brooklyn Nets are considering signing Donatas Motiejunas to an offer sheet.

Motiejunas is a restricted free agent as he's been in a contract stalemate with the Houston Rockets.

Motiejunas is visiting with the Nets and undergoing a physical.

The Rockets traded Motiejunas to the Detroit Pistons before the 2016 deadline but it was rescinded following his physical due to concerns about his back injury.

Brooklyn has plenty of cap space to sign Motiejunas.
