Bryce Dejean-Jones underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a right wrist fracture. He will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season.

Dejean-Jones, 6-6, 203, has appeared in 14 games (11 starts) for the Pelicans, averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 19.9 minutes per game.

Prior to joining New Orleans, Dejean-Jones played for the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League, appearing in nine games (seven starts), averaging 19.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 steals in 31.1 minutes per game.

The second year of Dejean-Jones' deal will be a partial guarantee.

The Miami Heat have traded Jarnell Stokes to the New Orleans Pelicans in a small salary dump move.

The Heat have been trying to lower their tax bill all season. 

The move will save the Heat $2.1 million in luxury tax and are now $2.6 million above the tax.

The New Orleans Pelicans have shopped both Eric Gordon and Omer Asik ahead of the deadline, but they haven't received much interest.

Gordon is in the final season of his contract, while Asik is in the first season of a five-year, $58 million contract. The first four years are guaranteed at $42.7 million.

The Cleveland Cavaliers remain active in trade talks, discussing a Ryan Anderson deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Anderson will be a free agent in the offseason and the Pelicans would like to move him before the deadline.

The Cavaliers are also considering a three-team deal that includes Kevin Love.

Jrue Holiday remains "untouchable" ahead of the trade deadline. Zach Lowe also reported the Pelicans have been "rebuffing all inquiries" for Holiday.

Holiday has been the New Orleans Pelicans' best player in the backcourt this season.

Holiday is also signed to a favorable contract and won't be a free agent until 2017.

Holiday turns 26 in June.

The New Orleans Pelicans held discussions with the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons on a three-team trade involving Ryan Anderson and Tobias Harris.

Those scenarios had Harris going to the Pelicans and Anderson going to the Pistons.

Anderson will be a free agent in the offseason.

The Pistons and Magic agreed to a two-team trade of Harris for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova.

The Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings both plan to pursue Ryan Anderson in free agency.

Anderson is in the final season of his current deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Anderson played some of the best basketball of his career under Stan Van Gundy while he grew up in Sacramento.

Anderson could earn as much as $20 million per season on his next deal.

Tyreke Evans will undergo surgery on his right knee and will likely miss the rest of the season.

Evans will visit specialists to finalize his surgery details.

Evans underwent arthroscopic surgery on the same knee in October and recently began experiencing pain again.

Evans has averaged 15.2 points, 6.6 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have interest in Kyle Korver, Tyreke Evans and Omer Asik ahead of the trade deadline.

The Atlanta Hawks could be selling off parts of their core in an attempt to retool.

The Cavs also discussed a Timofey Mozgov trade with the Sacramento Kings.
