Dell Demps will meet with officials from the New Orleans Pelicans' ownership on Monday.

The expectation is Demps will be retained as general manager.

There has been speculation of Joe Dumars eventually taking on a big role within the Pelicans.

Demps was hired as GM of the Pelicans in July of 2010.

John Hammond could soon be fired or step down as general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Hammond received a one-year extension from the Bucks a year ago.

Hammond is expected to end up in a similar position with the New Orleans Pelicans to reunite with Joe Dumars.

The future of Jason Kidd is also in doubt as he hasn't endeared himself to the ownership of the Bucks beyond Marc Lasry.

The Bucks somewhat surprisingly reached the playoffs in 2015 but regressed in 2016.

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed James Ennis for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. 

Ennis, 6-7, 201, was originally signed by New Orleans on March 30. In six games (two starts), Ennis has averaged 11.3 points, while shooting .440 from three-point range, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest. Prior to joining the Pelicans, Ennis most recently played for the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League, appearing in 24 games this season, averaging 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.3 minutes per contest.

Selected 50th overall by Atlanta out of Long Beach State in the 2013 NBA Draft, Ennis has appeared in 81 career regular season games with Miami, Memphis and New Orleans, holding averages of 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds.

A doctor has recommended sports hernia surgery for Ryan Anderson.

Anderson is seeking a second opinion before he moves forward.

Anderson will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

The New Orleans Pelicans are expected to re-sign Jordan Hamilton and James Ennis for the remainder of the season.

The Pelicans have several players out for the season with injury.

Ennis has averaged 12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 27.6 minutes per game with the Pelicans, while Hamilton has averaged 11.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
