Lance Stephenson will work out for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Stephenson remains a free agent after finishing this past season with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies declined their team option on Stephenson for the 16-17 season.

Stephenson signed a three-year, $27 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets in the 2014 offseason.

The NBA has decided to hold the 2017 All-Star Game in New Orleans.

An official announcement is expected by the end of Friday.

The All-Star Game was previously scheduled to take place in Charlotte but the NBA decided to relocate it due to a state law in North Carolina that limits anti-discrimination protections for lesbian, gay and transgender people.

This marks the third time New Orleans, which became an NBA city for the second time in 2002, has been selected to host the league's All-Star Game since 2008.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 19, which falls during the first weekend of Mardi Gras parades.

Chris Copeland has agreed upon a non-guaranteed camp deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Copeland spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks after previous stops with the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. Copeland was waived in February by the Bucks.

Copeland was the Belgian League MVP before joining the Knicks in 2012.

Robert Sacre will join the New Orleans Pelicans for training camp.

Sacre played four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers after he was the 60th overall pick in 2012 out of Gonzaga. 

Sacre has averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.5 minutes over 189 career games.

Shawn Dawson will play for the New Orleans Pelicans in training camp.

Dawson won the championship last season in Israel for Maccabi Rishon.

Dawson averaged 15.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game last season.
