The Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic are discussing a trade of Reggie Jackson for D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green. 

Jackson was acquired by the Pistons near the 2015 deadline and re-signed that offseason. 

Jackson's name surfaced earlier this season in trade talks for Ricky Rubio. 

The Toronto Raptors held trade talks with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Serge Ibaka last June before he was dealt to the Orlando Magic.

The Thunder asked for Patrick Patterson, Norman Powell and the No. 9 overall pick that became Jakob Poeltl from the Raptors. Oklahoma City instead traded Ibaka to the Magic for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and the pick that became Domantas Sabonis.

Toronto acquired Ibaka on Tuesday from the Magic for Terrence Ross and a late first round pick in this year's draft.

Masai Ujiri has long been interested in acquiring Ibaka.

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to acquire Serge Ibaka from the Orlando Magic for Terrence Ross and a 2017 first round pick.

The Magic acquired Ibaka from the Oklahoma City Thunder in the offseason for Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and Domantas Sabonis. Orlando never coalesced into a playoff contender as they expected.

Ibaka will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Toronto intends to re-sign Ibaka and not simply make him a rental for their playoff push this season. Masai Ujiri has long had interest in acquiring Ibaka.

Ross signed an extension with the Raptors worth $33 million over three years in 2015. Ross is due $10.5 million in 17-18 and 18-19 before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

The Raptors own two first round picks in this year's draft and will send the lesser in value of the two between their own and the Clippers.

While Rob Hennigan will be evaluated as general manager of the Orlando Magic by Alex Martins in the offseason, he admitted the criticism he has received is valid.

“First and foremost, the criticism is warranted,” Hennigan said prior to Tuesday's trade of Serge Ibaka to Toronto. “I don’t know if it’s welcome because no one likes to get criticized, but the job we have and the job we’re trying to do is certainly subject to that. Our fans, quite frankly, deserve to be upset and deserve to be frustrated. … I think the proverbial hot seat comes with the territory.”

The Magic had playoff aspirations but now have the second worst record in the Eastern Conference.

Hennigan became GM of the Magic in 2012.

Serge Ibaka could be traded by the Orlando Magic before this month's deadline.

Ibaka will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

The Magic are fielding calls from a handful of teams on Ibaka after realizing re-signing him will be tougher than initially expected.

The Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat are among the teams that have expressed interest in Ibaka.

Alex Martins said he will follow standard team procedure when he and the DeVos family assess the job performance of Rob Hennigan as general manager of the Orlando Magic.

“We don’t evaluate any of our individuals in midseason,” Martins said when asked by the Orlando Sentinel about Hennigan’s job security. “Traditionally, we do that in a very comprehensive fashion at the end of each season, and this season is no different.”

The Magic had playoff aspirations but are more than a dozen games under .500.

Martins and Hennigan have said they are disappointed with the team’s performance.

Hennigan is in his fifth season as general manager of the Magic.

Serge Ibaka is on the radar of the Miami Heat.

Ibaka will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason and the Orlando Magic are willing to consider offers. It is unclear whether the Heat have the assets Orlando would want in exchange for Ibaka. The Magic acquired Ibaka last June from the Oklahoma City Thunder for Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis and Ersan Ilyasova.

Ibaka has averaged 14.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and shot 38.6 percent on threes.
