The Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as the frontrunner to sign Danny Granger.

Granger and the Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a buyout on Wednesday.

The San Antonio Spurs also remain a viable possibility for Granger. The Spurs plan on pitching Granger on the concept of him becoming a version of Robert Horry for them.

The Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks have also shown an inclination in pursuing Granger.

David Aldridge of NBA.com was first to report news of Granger's buyout agreement with the 76ers.

The 76ers could have six of the top 40 or so picks and nine overall in the June draft.

"We'll meet with (Danny Granger). ... It's going to be interesting," said Sim Hinkie. "We're going to sit and talk."

Hinkie said that there is a chance that the 76ers will discuss a buyout with Granger.

The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Earl Clark.

Clark was acquired in the 76ers' deadline trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Spencer Hawes.

The Indiana Pacers have acquired Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen from the Philadelphia 76ers for Danny Granger.

The 76ers also acquired a future second round pick in the deal from the Pacers.

Turner will be a restricted free agent in the offseason.

The Philadelphia 76ers have acquired Byron Mullens from the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers will receive a 2014 second round pick from the 76ers that will never be conveyed while also reducing their tax obligation. The 76ers also receive a second round pick in 2018 from the Clippers.

Mullens was averaging just 6.2 minutes per game for the Clippers.
