JarKarr Sampson has signed a partially guaranteed three-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Sampson played for the 76ers in the July NBA summer league.
Sampson went undrafted out of St. John's.
Devon Collier, an undrafted forward out of Oregon State, has passed on an invitation to NBA training camp to sign a deal with Bnei Herzliya in Israel, sources told RealGM.
Collier had received interest as a draft-and-stash prospect in June’s NBA Draft, and he was in discussions with the Philadelphia 76ers before his agent Charles Briscoe and manager Tzvi Grossman decided upon a contract in Israel's top basketball league.
Collier will now play alongside former NBA players Devin Ebanks and Josh Selby.
Collier was a standout all-around player in four collegiate seasons, averaging 13.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in his senior year.
Courtney Witte is leaving the Philadelphia 76ers to join the front office of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Witte has been the 76ers' director of player personnel for more than a decade.
Sam Hinkie and Witte reached agreement that allowed the longtime scout to join the Clippers.
Witte, who played college basketball under coach Bob Knight at the University of Indiana, spent 11 seasons with the Indiana Pacers before the Sixers hired him in 1998 as a video coordinator and advance scout.
