Rockets, Blazers Interested In Dwight Howard

Jun 29, 2016 7:51 PM

The Houston Rockets have interest in re-signing Dwight Howard on a non-maximum contract.

Howard opted out of his contract with the Rockets and hasn't been expected back as his previous stint with Mike D'Antoni was contemptuous.

The Portland Trail Blazers also have interest in Howard on a short-term deal, while he's scheduled to meet with the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics.

Howard has interest in signing with the New York Knicks, though it is unclear how much interest Phil Jackson has in the notion.
