Andrea Bargnani will not accompany the Raptors on their three-game road trip, which will begin Monday night in Memphis and conclude Friday night in Houston.

The earliest he'll return is Jan. 2 against the Celtics in Toronto.
Chris Bosh turned down a Raptors offer to trade the forward to the Cavaliers earlier this year, according to a source in Toronto.
Bosh would have received a maximum contract as a result of the deal, roughly $10M more than he received from Miami.
A source says the Cavaliers also tried to acquire Chris Paul.
Andrea Bargnani sat out Toronto's 120-110 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday with an ankle injury.
Bargnani also missed Wednesday's game against Chicago, but he returned to post 32 points and nine rebounds against New Jersey on Friday night.

"We just came together -- that's all I can say," said Amir Johnson. "We were shooting the ball well, but we were having problems on defense. We knew we had to start getting stops, and we stepped up."

Nuggets coach George Karl got the 1,000th win of his coaching career on Friday night as Denver defeated Toronto 123-116.
Karl is just the seventh coach in NBA history to record 1,000 wins.
"I just felt together with them, I felt connected with them," Karl said of his players. "A lot of times during an NBA season, the coach and players aren't really connected, they're fighting a lot. This was a moment, not only on the court but in the locker room afterward, there was a great connection."
Chauncey Billups called it "a moment that you'll never forget."

Alabi averaged 8.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 22.7 minutes during seven games with the BayHawks.
“Part of it is we want to keep in touch with him, have him work with our coaches and have him be up here with us and with the team and not to lose that connection with the team that he has here,” said said Raptors head coach Jay Triano after practice on Thursday.
The Raptors remain a work in progress, says Jay Triano when asked how he evaluates his now that they have reached the 20-game mark.
?We have showed a lot of real positive signs,? Triano said. ?When you look at the teams we have beaten (Orlando, Boston, Oklahoma City), we?ve beaten some very good teams and played with other good teams (Miami, L.A. Lakers, Portland). I think that shows where we can be.?
riano was asked specifically if there were any disappointments at this stage in the season.
?No, not really,? he said. ?I obviously would like to be able to shoot the ball a lot better. I think our offensive production was probably a little bit higher last season but it?s starting to come. It?s guys becoming more familiar with each other. Two of our main scorers are (Leandro) Barbosa and (Linas) Kleiza and they were not here last year. I think those are the two guys that can score off the bench.?

“The fans here, man…they can get pretty loud. They don’t forget anything. Yesterday I did watch the game and I think the boos that Vince got were a little louder.”
Peterson was in Toronto on Friday night playing the Raptors as a member of the Thunder.
