Kings Waive Jordan Farmar, Isaiah Cousins, Lamar Patterson

Oct 24, 2016 5:38 PM

The Sacramento Kings have waived Jordan Farmar, Isaiah Cousins and Lamar Patterson.

Sacramento's roster now stands at 15.

Farmar ended last season for Dave Joerger and the Memphis Grizzlies last season and he figured to have a decent shot of making the regular season roster since Darren Collison will begin the season on suspension.

Marc Gasol Not Concerned By Sore Ankle

Oct 16, 2016 5:17 PM

Marc Gasol left in the third quarter of Saturday night's double-overtime preseason game against Houston with a sore right ankle.

Gasol underwent surgery last February to repair a non-displaced Type II fracture of the navicular bone in his right foot.

"I didn't have to leave the game. I got subbed out," said Gasol. "Then just used (the time on the bench) to get some ice and remove my ankle tape. That was all."

Gasol went to the locker room after exiting the game and returned in the fourth quarter.

"He's OK, he just got sore," David Fizdale said. "They will treat him (Sunday) and re-evaluate it, but I don't think it's anything to be worried about. At some point, we knew he was going to get sore, so we're expecting it to be fine."

Mario Chalmers Has One Month Remaining In Achilles Rehab

Oct 9, 2016 2:46 PM

Mario Chalmers is about a month away from returning from his Achilles rehab.

Chalmers underwent surgery on his Achilles in March.

Chalmers has received interest from a number of teams who are monitoring his progress.

With a dearth of viable backup point guards in the NBA, Chalmers will likely find a roster a spot quickly after he's cleared to play.
