Grizzlies Tried To Sign Milos Teodosic In 2013

Aug 15, 2016 2:39 PM

The Memphis Grizzlies attempted to sign Milos Teodosic in the summer of 2013.

The Grizzlies offered Teodosic a two-year deal in the $5 million range in an attempt to bring him to the NBA.

Teodosic elected to sign a contract instead with CSKA Moscow that has one more season remaining. His current deal has no NBA outs, so the summer of 2017 is the earliest that Teodosic would be a free agent. Teodosic figures to receive interest from the NBA when he becomes a free agent.

"As good a player, as good a guard, as there is in Europe," Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski said.

Lance Stephenson May Have To Find Deal Overseas

Aug 7, 2016 9:51 AM

Lance Stephenson remains an NBA free agent and he may have to head overseas to find a deal.

Stephenson averaged 14.2 points per game in 26 games with the Memphis Grizzlies but they didn't pick up their team option.

Stephenson clearly remains talented but teams have likely been reluctant to take a chance on his sometimes difficult personality.
