Quinn Cook, Alan Williams, Davante Gardner Could Be Breakout Candidates

Ken Pomeroy has identified three players who received rotation minutes last season, but could have a breakout 12-13 campaign when their minutes increase.

Quinn Cook of Duke, Alan Williams of UC Santa Barbara and Davante Gardner of Marquette are his three candidates.

Cook played just 12 minutes per game last season as he as behind Austin Rivers on the Blue Devils' depth chart. Cook had an offensive rating of 118.

Williams was a late bloomer out of high school and averaged 17 minutes last season. Williams is an active rebounder and shotblocker.

Gardner averaged 19 minutes per game in his sophomore season as his role was limited behind the now departed Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom.
