Ole Miss defeated Florida by a final score of 66-63 to win the 2013 SEC Tournament.

Marshall Henderson was named Tournament MVP.

Henderson was joined on the All-Tournament Team by teammate Reginald Buckner and Murphy Holloway, and Florida's Kenny Boynton and Erik Murphy.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope of Georgia has been named the SEC Player of the Year, while Kentucky's Nerlens Noel won both Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Joining Caldwell-Pope and Noel on the First Team All-SEC are Alabama's Trevor Releford, Florida's Erik Murphy, LSU's Johnny O'Bryant, Missouri's Phil Pressey, Tennessee's Jordan McRae and Texas A&M's Elston Turner.

Billy Donovan was named Coach of the Year.

Marshall Henderson is averaging 19.3 points per game this season as a JC transfer on Ole Miss.

Henderson spent 25 days in jail last spring for violation of the terms of his probation stemming from a 2010 forgery charge related to counterfeit money. The reason for the probation violation wasn't publicly known until this week.

In January of last year, Marshall tested positive for cocaine, marijuana and alcohol, according to the records provided by the Tarrant County, Texas, District Attorney's office through a Freedom of Information request.

Ole Miss declined to make Henderson available Wednesday.

Henderson could be a late first round or second round pick.

The SEC has become one college basketball's strongest conferences over the past decade as Kentucky has become a powerhouse again under John Calipari, while Billy Donovan has built a consistent winner at Florida with championships in 2006 and 2007.

But there has also been a trickle down effect.

Seven of the top 15 overall prospects in the Class of 2013 are SEC-bound: Andrew and Aaron Harrison and James Young to Kentucky, Kasey Hill and Chris Walker to Florida, Bobby Portis to Arkansas and Jarrell Martin to LSU.

Each of the five remaining top-15 prospects are considering at least one SEC school.

The SEC has 13 top-50 commits, which is more than double the amount from the ACC (6) and Big 12 (6).

Ole Miss received a verbal commitment from Sebastian Saiz, a 6-foot-9, 230-pound center out of Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas.

Saiz officially visiting the school this past weekend.

Dwight Coleby announced via Twitter that he has verbally committed to Ole Miss.

Coleby, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound center, turned down scholarship offers from Georgia, Memphis, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss.

Rodney Hood is expected to announce his decision on whether he will transfer to Duke or Ohio State this week.

Hood left Mississippi State on April 8th after one year on the team.
