South Dakota State's Nate Wolters has been named Player of the Year for The Summit League. Wolters was joined on the the First Team All-Summit by Oakland's Travis Bader, North Dakota State's Marshall Bjorklund, Ceola Clark and Terell Parks of Western Illinois, and Frank Gaines of IPFW. Oakland received a commitment from Kahlil Felder, a 5-foot-9 guard who garnered interest from Eastern Michigan, Akron and Southern Illinois among others. Oakland received a verbal commitment from Jalen Hayes, a 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward who chose the Golden Grizzlies over offers from Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Akron. “Oakland is perfect for the way I play,” Hayes said. “I can be more versatile in their offense, playing the 3 (wing or small forward), 4 (power forward) and maybe even 5 (center) a little bit.” Hayes is the second member of Oakland’s 2013 recruiting class.
