Southern defeated Prairie View A&M by a final score of 45-44 to win the 2013 SWAC Tournament.

Derick Beltran was named Tournament MVP.

Beltran was joined on the All-Tournament Team by teammate Malcolm Miller, Prairie View A&M's Jourdan DeMunyck and Carl Blair, Alabama A&M's Demarquelle Tabb and Jackson State's Christian Williams.
