UConn beat Purdue 75-60 on Monday night to win its second straight NCAA men's tournament championship.

UConn are the first team to go back-to-back since Florida in 2006-07.

UConn beat its six opponents in the NCAA tournament by an average of 23.3 points.

The school have now won six titles in the last 25 years.

Purdue's Zach Edey finished with 37 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

A year after a stunning Final Four defeat that ended what could have been a perfect season and national championship run, the South Carolina Gamecocks finished the job Sunday in historic fashion.

South Carolina defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 87-75 in the women's NCAA tournament title game to become the 10th team in Division I history to complete an undefeated season (38-0), joining UConn (6 times), Baylor (2011-12), Tennessee (1997-98) and Texas (1985-86) as the only programs to achieve such a feat.

Alabama's 89-87 win over North Carolina in the Sweet 16 of the men's NCAA Tournament averaged a 4.2 rating with 7.8 million viewers on CBS.

The number was a 27% viewership increase from last year's UCLA-Gonzaga matchup.

Thursday's regional semifinals averaged 10.24 million viewers per window across CBS, TBS, and TruTV.

The Bucks-Pelicans matchup on NBA TV averaged 285,000 viewers.

The second-round matchup between Iowa and West Virginia in the NCAA women's basketball tournament averaged 4.9 million viewers with a 2.7 rating on ESPN.

The number represents the largest audience ever for a NCAA women's tournament game prior to the Final Four.

The game peaked with 6.4 million viewers.

Iowa won the matchup 64-54, with Caitlin Clark finishing with 32 points.

Iowa's first-round game averaged 3.23 million viewers on ABC.

UConn, Houston, Purdue, and North Carolina received the No. 1 seeds in the 2024 NCAA men's tournament.

UConn secured the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.

"It's tough no matter where you are. There's so much depth in college basketball these days. This time of year comes down to who plays the best to their identity," said UConn coach Dan Hurley.

The Cougars and Boilermakers were also the No. 1 seeds in last year's tournament.

North Carolina were the fourth No. 1 seed in the bracket.
