Haywood To Meet With Mavs, Cavs, Heat On Thursday

Brendan Haywood has meetings scheduled with the Mavericks, Cavaliers and Heat on Thursday, a league source said. Haywood will conduct the meetings in Charlotte, NC.

The Nuggets, Knicks, Bulls and Raptors also have interest, the source said.

Brian Windhorst reports that a double sign-and-trade involving Shaquille O'Neal could lead Haywood to Cleveland.

The Knicks will fly to Cleveland for a 1 p.m. sitdown with LeBron James, league sources told ESPN.com's Chris Broussard on Wednesday night.

New York is first meeting with Mike Miller, Joe Johnson and Amar'e Stoudemire in Los Angeles after midnight on July 1st.

Wojnarowski reports that the Bulls are currently in the lead for LeBron, with the Heat, Nets and Cavaliers also 'in hot pursuit'.

Raptors Rule Out Taking Back Deng For Bosh

The Raptors have discussed a sign-and-trade involving Chris Bosh with as many as eight teams.

Bryan Colangelo, however, has ruled out bringing back the expensive contract of Bulls forward Luol Deng.

Deng has four years and nearly $50 million left on his contract, and the Bulls have been dangling him as part of sign-and-trade possibilities involving Bosh, LeBron James and Joe Johnson.

Besides Chicago, Miami, New York and New Jersey, the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks are determined suitors for Bosh.

New York will also meet with Amar'e Stoudemire on Thursday morning.
