The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard/forward Damien Wilkins for the remainder of the season according to Executive Vice President/General Manager Rick Sund. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Wilkins has appeared in 20 games off the bench for Atlanta this season, averaging 2.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.7 apg and 0.6 spg (.447 FG%, .739 FT%) in 12.3 mpg. T
The Suns have signed guard Zabian Dowdell to a 10-day contract, the team has announced.
The 6-3, 191-pound Dowdell returns for his second regular season stint with the Suns after signing a 10-day contract on Jan. 9, 2011.
Dowdell played 18 games of the 2010-11 season with the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA D-League, where he averaged 14.5 points, 4.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 29.3 minutes in 18 starts. Dowdell, who also spent 10 games with the 66ers in 2009-10, saw both his scoring and assist averages increase in 2010-11.
The Toronto Raptors signed guard Trey Johnson of the Bakersfield Jam.
The NBA D-League’s leading scorer, Johnson averaged 25.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 26 games (all starts), leading the Jam to a 16-10 record. Johnson scored in double figures in every game this season, and in his last five games shot 58.3 percent from the field, averaging 29.4 points.
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Garrett Temple to a 10-day contract, general manager John Hammond announced Tuesday.
Temple, 24, has appeared in 30 NBA games in stints with San Antonio, Houston and Sacramento over the last two seasons with career averages of 4.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.8 minutes.
He appeared in three games earlier this season with San Antonio.
Undrafted out of Louisiana State University, Temple has appeared in 48 game the last two seasons in the NBA's Development League and averaged 14.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals while knocking down 37.5 percent of his 3-pointers.
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed center Chris Johnson of the NBA Development League's Dakota Wizards to a 10-day contract, it was announced Monday by general manager Rich Cho.
The NBA granted Portland a hardship exception, allowing the team to sign Johnson and expand its roster to 16 players. He is the fourth call-up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season.
Johnson, 25, is averaging 17.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3.07 blocked shots in 27 games with Dakota this season.
Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld announced Friday that the team has signed guard Mustafa Shakur from the NBA Development League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers to a 10-day contract.
Shakur has averaged 16.7 points, 5.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds this season through 23 games with Rio Grande Valley.
He spent time in training camp with the New Orleans Hornets earlier this season and has previously had stints with Oklahoma City, Sacramento and the D-League's Tulsa Thunder (where he averaged 19.3 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds during the 2009-10 season).

The seventh-year veteran signed his first 10-day contract on January 8, 2011. He was originally signed by the Hawks on December 3, 2010, and waived on January 5, 2011.
The San Antonio Spurs signed forward Larry Owens of the Tulsa 66ers to a 10-day contract Saturday for the second call-up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season.
Owens' call-up increases the number of current NBA players with NBA D-League experience to 71.
He started in all 23 games he has appeared in this season for the 66ers, leading the team to a Western Conference-best 18-6 record.
Owens averaged 12.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 31.1 minutes per game. He's scored in double figures 18 times, including a season-high 22 points versus Iowa on Nov. 26.
The Los Angeles Clippers Saturday signed center Jarron Collins to a second 10-day contract.
Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced.
A nine-year NBA veteran, Collins has appeared in 22 games with the Clippers this season and is averaging 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in 7.0 minutes per game.
The Clippers originally signed Collins on Sept. 27 before waiving him on Jan. 3. Collins was signed to his first 10-day contract on Jan. 5.
