DJ White signed a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday.
The Bobcats roster stands at 15 players.
RealGM first reported on Wednesday that White was receiving strong consideration to be signed by the Bobcats, who worked out a slew of big men last week.
White is in his sixth NBA season and has career averages of 6.0 points and 3.2 rebounds in 132 games played with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Bobcats and Boston Celtics.

To create the roster spot for Curry, the Cavaliers released forward Shane Edwards from his 10-day contract that was set to expire today.
Curry has appeared in 36 games (35 starts) for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League this season, averaging 19.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.2 minutes per game. He also played one game for the Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the season.
Shannon Brown has signed with the New York Knicks for the remainder of the season.
Brown has averaged 1.8 points in nine games with the Knicks.

Justin Hamilton signed a two-year contract with the Miami Heat containing certain guarantee dates for next season, a league source told RealGM.
Hamilton had finished his first 10-day deal with the Charlotte Bobcats on Thursday, and the Heat have long been intrigued with the seven-footer from Louisiana State University. Miami originally acquired Hamilton in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft.

Free agent center Shavlik Randolph has signed with the Phoenix Suns for the rest of the season, with a team option for 2014-15, his agent, Joel Bell, told RealGM.
Randolph had been with Foshan of the Chinese Basketball Association this season, averaging 22.3 points and 12.3 rebounds.
To create roster space, the Suns released Slava Kravtsov.
Undrafted in 2005, Randolph bounced around in the NBA and overseas after spending his first three seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers. He has also played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. He was a productive reserve for the Celtics a season ago, scoring 4.2 points and grabbing 4.4 rebounds a night in 16 games.
Randolph, 30, has played six NBA seasons.
