The Chicago Bulls have signed free agent center Solomon Jones to a one-year, veteran-minimum contract, a league source told RealGM.
Jones, an eight-year NBA pro, went to training camp with the Orlando Magic a season ago and made the regular season roster.
At 6-foot-10, Jones has averaged three points and 2.7 rebounds in his career with Atlanta, Indiana, the Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans, New York and Orlando.

The Houston Rockets have signed Akil Mitchell, a participant on the team’s Orlando and Las Vegas Summer League squads.
Mitchell (6-9, 230, Virginia), appeared in 133 contests and held career averages of 6.9 points on 51.9% FG shooting, 6.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists as a Virginia Cavalier.
The Detroit Pistons have signed Brian Cook and Josh Bostic to their training camp roster.
Cook played for the Pistons' summer league team in July and played under Stan Van Gund in Orlando.
The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Ronnie Price, the team announced Wednesday.
Price, a nine-year NBA veteran, holds career averages of 3.4 points, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 rebounds over 425 games (35 starts).
Doron Lamb signed with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
Lamb (6-4, 200) is a three-year NBA veteran with career averages of 3.5 points, 1.0 rebound and 12.7 minutes in 100 games with Milwaukee and Orlando.
Lamb won an NCAA championship at Kentucky.
The Charlotte Hornets signed Justin Cobbs, Dallas Lauderdale and Brian Qvale to training camp deals on Monday.
The Hornets' training camp roster now stands at 17.
Wayne Ellington has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team announced on Monday.
Ellington was recently waived by the Sacramento Kings.
Kyrylo Fesenko has signed a training camp contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fesenko has played five NBA seasons with the Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers.
Fesenko last appeared in camp with the Chicago Bulls in 2012.
The Los Angeles Clippers have re-signed Hedo Turkoglu.
“We are happy to welcome Hedo back to the Clippers,” Doc Rivers said in a statement. “Hedo is a versatile, veteran presence who contributed to the championship culture we are building in Los Angeles.”
Turkoglu, 35, appeared in 38 games for the Clippers last season after being signed on January 10 and averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.0 minutes of play.
Undrafted rookie guard Chris Crawford signed a two-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, including partial guarantees, league sources told RealGM.
Cleveland will bring Crawford into training camp as a point guard, signing the former University of Memphis product on Wednesday after he arrived into town earlier in the week. Crawford should compete in camp for a possible second- or third-string role behind Kyrie Irving and likely Matthew Dellavedova.
Crawford played for the Houston Rockets’ summer league team in July, averaging over 10 points per game and showing an extended shooting skill as a lead guard at 6-foot-4.
The 21-year-old averaged 8.7 points, four assists and four rebounds as a senior at Memphis last season.
