The Denver Nuggets have traded Joffrey Lauvergne to the Oklahoma City Thunder for two future second-round picks.

Lauvergne averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game last season with a PER of 15.8.

Lauvergne, who turns 25 in September, also participated in the 2016 Olympics with France.

The Philadelphia 76ers have traded Kendall Marshall to the Utah Jazz for Tibor Pleiss, two second round picks and cash.

The Jazz plan to waive Marshall before his $2 million contract becomes guaranteed.

The 76ers will absorb the $3 million guaranteed to Pleiss for 2016-17 and the $500,000 guaranteed on the $3.1 million in 2017-18. 

Marshall will find it difficult to find a guaranteed spot for training camp with another team due to being waived this late in the offseason.

Phil Jackson said his biggest mistake since taking over the New York Knicks was not taking Jae Crowder in the Tyson Chandler trade with the Dallas Mavericks.

Crowder emerged as one of the NBA's best defensive players since his trade to the Boston Celtics.

"One of the first deals I engineered when I came back to New York was to trade Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to Dallas for Shane Larkin, Jose Calderon, Wayne Ellington, Samuel Dalembert, plus a second-round pick that the Mavs owed to the Celtics," said Jackson. "In talking with (Dallas), I was given the option of taking that pick or else taking Jae Crowder. I liked Crowder but I thought he wouldn’t get much of a chance to play behind Carmelo, so I took the pick which turned out to be Cleanthony Early. While Cleanthony has missed lots of time in the past two seasons with us, he still has the potential to be a valuable player. Even so, I should have taken Crowder.

“Anyway, for all of us, making mistakes are part of the learning process."

The Miami Heat plan on keeping Josh McRoberts to begin this season.

McRoberts will make $5.8 million this season and has a player option for $6 million in 17-18.

McRoberts has previously been mentioned in trade rumors.

Nick Young is attempting to repair his relationship with D'Angelo Russell but his future with the Los Angeles Lakers remains uncertain.

"I would frankly be surprised if Nick Young is on the Lakers' roster at the start of the season," said Kevin Ding. "They've been trying to trade him for a while, they're still trying to trade him. They are willing to even buy him out, if necessary, to move on and really commit to the youth movement and let D'Angelo Russell do his thing."

The Lakers signed Young to a four-year, $21.5 million deal in 2014.

The Toronto Raptors are expected to have interest in Serge Ibaka in free agency in 2017.

Ibaka would fit a need for the Raptors at power forward with his ability to protect the rim on defense and stretch the floor on offense.

Ibaka was traded to the Orlando Magic from the Oklahoma City Thunder on draft night.
